Sunny Skies

Home in Nome at last. Came home after surgery, went back to Anchorage days later, and am now back again. Yesterday was my first day back to work since surgery and I walked right into a packed schedule. Nice to know that I'm useful here. I do enjoy my work and the people of this region. As I contemplate making a change and seeking a life and a job elsewhere I feel extremely torn. Nome has been such an amazing place for me so the thought of leaving it behind is very bittersweet. But, for now, I am here and I am content to be here. The weather has been incredible. We have sunny skies and temps close to 60 most days. I've been walking the beach again and enjoying having bonfires with friends. Duke and Henry are in heaven being outside again so much too. I've got some great pictures of Henry making new friends on the beach that I'll try to get posted soon.

Not much more to tell except things are pretty good at the moment. I'm fully recovered from surgery and am at last in a place where I can look forward without any looming medical treatment or procedure waiting for me.

Happy Spring to you. . .

  • It's great to here about sunny skies. The darkness can truly be a bitch. I hope to talk to you soon about our trip and if it's still on, if we should shorten it, etc.,. I will call you again tonight. I love you, Romy
